A couple of weeks ago I took part in the PSNZ Southern Regional Convention in Ashburton. A fun weekend of speakers, field trips and workshops. On the Saturday morning I had an early start with a bus leaving for the Ashburton Lakes at 5:30am, arriving at Lake Camp/Lake Clearwater in time for the sunrise which is pretty but cold, with frost on the ground. One of the keynote speakers for the weekend, William Patino, joined us on the trip and as well as being a thoughtful and inspiring speaker gave useful advice and encouragement on the trip.
As well as capturing the colourful sunrise on the digital camera I took my 4×5 film camera along with some FP4 film and took a few images, developed as ever at Photosynthesis.
