Cyanotype Shadows

Just for fun, I was looking to see what would happen if I tried to combine a digital print with cyanotype. In this case, I was looking to use the cyanotype in the image shadows, so I started by printing a digital image converted to CMYK with the key channel removed. I then created a digital negative from the image and used the normal cyanotype process on top of the digital print. I had no idea if the digital print colour would remain or wash off in the process, but in the end, it turned out quite well. At least I like it. The hardest bit is lining up the print with the digital negative before exposing the cyanotype.
